Film feature credits include Hummingbirds (Berlinale 2023, Grand Prix Best Feature Generation), The Problem With Apu (DOC NYC 2017), and Valedictorian (Rotterdam 2015). His first feature as DP, Sex Drugs Guns (2009), won Best Picture at its premiere at the Philadelphia Indie Film Fest. Miguel was supported by the Panavision New Filmmakers program to shoot portions of The Diary of Preston Plummer (2012) on 35mm film.
Miguel’s work has also appeared on the television programs Sesame Street, Art 21, and Liquid Science (starring the GZA, who just may be the best rapper of all time).
